At Dreamares, we respect your privacy. This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on dreamares.com, why we use them and how you can manage them.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can be used to remember information about your visit and help a website function correctly.

We may also use similar technologies, such as local storage. Local storage allows information — such as the contents of your shopping cart — to remain saved in your browser.

What we use

Dreamares currently only uses technologies that are necessary for the website and webshop to function.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies support essential features of the website. They may be used to:

• Keep you securely signed in to your Dreamares account;
• Maintain your session while navigating the website;
• Remember your cookie preferences;
• Remember that the opening animation has already played; and
• Support security, fraud prevention and the checkout process.

Because these cookies are necessary for the website to work, they cannot be disabled through our website.

Everything we store on your device

This is the complete list. Every item below is first-party, meaning it is set by dreamares.com and not by anyone else.

• dreamares_consent — cookie. Your cookie choice, so we do not ask again. Kept for twelve months. It contains your choice and the date, nothing else.
• Supabase authentication cookies (names beginning with sb-) — cookie. Keeps you signed in to your account and refreshes that session. Only present if you have an account and are signed in; removed when you sign out.
• dreamares_cart_v1 — local storage. The products in your shopping cart. It stays on your device and is never sent anywhere until you check out.
• dreamares_checkout_v1 — local storage. Your name, address, email and phone number, so you do not have to type them again next time. It is only ever written if you tick “Remember these details on this device” at checkout, it stays in your browser, and unticking that box deletes it immediately. Clearing your browser data removes it too.
• dreamares.intro.v1 — session storage. Nothing but the word “yes”, recording that the opening animation has already played, so you do not see it again on every page. It is erased the moment you close the tab and is never sent to us.

The opening marker disappears when you close the tab. The cart is removed when you clear your browser data. The others are removed when they expire, when you sign out, or when you clear your browser data.

Payment providers

When you proceed to checkout, our payment providers, such as Stripe or PayPal, may use their own strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies. These technologies can be required to process your payment securely, prevent fraud and remember your selected payment method.

The use of these technologies is also subject to the privacy and cookie policies of the relevant payment provider.

Analytics

With your permission we use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are opened. It records the page address, the referring website, and general details such as country, browser and device type. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not build a profile of you or follow you to other websites.

It is only loaded after you allow analytics. If you decline, or have not chosen yet, it is never placed on the page and no measurement takes place at all. You can change this at any time through the Cookies link in the footer.

Marketing and tracking

Dreamares does not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies or tracking pixels. There is no Meta Pixel, no TikTok Pixel and no Google Analytics on this website, and we do not share your browsing behaviour with advertising networks.

If we introduce such a service in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and ask for your consent before placing anything. We will not place marketing or tracking cookies without your permission.

Email

The emails we send — order confirmations, shipping notices and account emails — contain no tracking pixels. We do not measure whether you open them or which links you click.

What is not stored on your device

Your account details, orders, addresses and any messages you send us are stored on our servers, not in your browser. How we handle that information, how long we keep it and what rights you have is described in our Privacy Policy.

How to manage cookies

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. You can also clear locally stored website data, including your shopping cart.

Please note that blocking or deleting strictly necessary cookies may affect how the website works. For example, you may have to sign in again or add products to your shopping cart again.

Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our website, services or legal obligations change. The latest version will always be available on this page. The date shown at the top indicates when this policy was last updated.
