Artchive/001 — The Perception

Unconscious Sight

Our eyes feed our dreams.

They gather fragments of the world and turn them into memories, feelings, and emotions. Everything we see leaves something behind — shaping the world of our unconscious and becoming a part of who we are.

To me, the eye is so much more than an organ that allows us to see.

It is an extension of the soul —something that never needs a voice to speak.

A single gaze can reveal what words try to hide.It can expose emotions we never intended to show, memories we thought we had forgotten, and feelings we cannot put into words.

Yet the eye can also deceive us.

We can have perfect vision and still be blind. We can look at the very same thingand see two entirely different worlds.

Because the eye only gives us the ability to see.It does not decide what we see.

Our memories do.Our emotions do.Our experiences do.Our unconscious does.

What we see becomes what we remember. What we remember becomes what we feel. And what we feel slowly becomes the world within us.

Perhaps we never truly see the world as it is.Perhaps we only see the world as we are.
